New Skin Care Routine.

So I've been using the 3 step Clinique Solutions for 3 weeks now and im unsure as to how i feel about it!

-Ive been getting more spots since I've started to use this routine.
-My spots are more prominent
-I don't know if these spots are due to my new skin care routine or because of stress with uni work.

I do like using the moisturiser though, its lovely and light. The face was and lotion are a bit heavy for me. i'm going to continue using these for the next few weeks and see how it goes, then I'll let you know.

On a more positive noet i love the Neutrogena- Oil free make up remover. I'm on my second bottle/tube. It's cheap and does the job very well! :)

Furry Cuff Wedge Boots

So last saturday i was in New Look and i tried on these boots, went over to the till and then decided i didn't want them. Following monday i was back and had bought them.

I don't know what it is about these boots but it was a love hate relationship, that i wanted really bad (if that makes sense).

Anyways I've been wearing them all week and i love them!

They are SO comfy! And make me taller:) And look good under leggings. AAAAAND you can wear them as long boots, or fold down to make them shorter. RESULT!
Price- £25.00
(Sorry the images are small, I will be uploading OOTD's where im wearing them. You can see the originals here: http://www.newlook.com/shop/womens/boots/furry-cuff-wedge-boot_199196916)

A little goes a long way...

How i make a little go a long way.

Now, don't get me wrong, im all for exciting, bright, outstanding makeup looks, but on a day to day basis I also like to use products that will enhance my natural features;

Here are a couple of my tips!

Lipliner- Ive recently rediscovered lipliner.

If the corners of your mouth are darker than the rest of your lips take a lipliner that is the exact same shade as the main body of your lips and use it on the corners of your mouth, dont go too close to the centre of your lips. Then blend it out with your fingers.

This will give you more full/plump looking lips. Result!
I use No7 Perfect lips liner

Liquid/gel liner- It's there, but it's not!

Line your upper lash line with gel/liquid liner. Go as close to the top lash line as you possibly can (without poking your eye out!) Only line above the lash line, not the inner corner of your eyes. Make sure the line is thin.

This will make your eyelashes look longer (after you've added mascara), it will give them more volume and define your eyes, without defining them!
I use BarryM liquid eye liner

My favourite hair care brand

As you can see from the title, this post is about my most loved/trusted hair care product brand. This title difinitely has to go to Tresemme. What can i say but- affordable, does the job, smells clean, and most of all makes my hair look and feel great! Give it a go. You won't regret it!

***Nail Polish Haul***

Spoilt for choice!

Soo the other day i went in to Boots to buy ONE green nail polish from Barry M and i came back with 5! eek. ((Side note: how do you store your nail polishes? the box i usually put them in has no room left... so any ideas are most welcome!))
I bought two from Barry M- the green one (doesn't have a name) is just a classic green. When anyone says green this is the colour i think of. I was a bit afraid to use this colour as i thought it may look "witchy". But, nope, it just looks funky:) The pink one from Barry M *strawberry* is a candy floss pink. two coats are required to get the candyfloss look, one coat will give you a sophisticated nude pink colour. Although the pink nail polish chips really fast, i've had no problem with the green ((also, the green only requires one coat)).
I bought 3 from Boots No7 as i had 3 £5 vouchers. ((These vouchers FORCE me to spend, i swear:( got one sitting in my purse right now)) Anyways i got "Night Silver 62", "Violetta 44" and "Twinkle 25".
Night Silver- Metallic silver, not the prettiest of colours (in my opinion) but i dont have silver nail polish, so here it is.
Violetta- I love this colour so much, i bought it twice by accident. Its very similar to Rimmel London "Blue my mind", which i also recently bought. These should las me all winter
Twinkle-Disappointment:( just like alot of other glitter nail polishes its clear with sparkles and is really hard to take off! I guess you could use it on top of a pink nail polish> hey, i could use it on top of Barry M *strawberry*. yeah i think that'd work quite well.
Until next time, i bid you farewell <3

Review: Revlon colour stay, 12 hour eyeshadow (03 neautral khakis)

Revlon colour stay, 12 hour eyeshadow (03 neautral khakis)- I bought this palette last week from Boots (don't remember the price, sorry!) to take on holiday with me. The palette comes with two small applicators. It's great for a neutral eye and you can create a not so dramatic smokey eye. The colours quite pigmented and they'll work for any skin tone. Although I would've prefered if the palette contained a light gold colour and maybe a white. The palette doesn't have a mirror, but thats ok as it would proabably get mmessy anyways (the shadows can get quite messy). The shadows aren't creamy but they come on really smoothly and blend really well. I think i'm going to get a lot of use out of this one! 8/10

flower ring

Hi! just wanted to do a quick post to show you gus a gorgeous ring i found whilst out shopping today:) Its one big ring with two flowers, so it looks like your wearing two. Bonus! :D Its only £2.50 from Primark, so go get one!

Hair dillema!

Hi everyone:) so, im going on hol next week and i want to get a haircut before i go. Only problem is i don't know what to get! my hair is very long and id like to keep most of the length. Do long layers look good? What kind of haircuts can you get for long hair? Im also thinking of getting a side fringe. Any ideas are most welcome! xxx

NOTD

Hi guys! i just wanted to share with you the nail polish colour i have been loveing these past two weeks:) Rimmel- Black cherries. I admit its not the most "summery" colour but its a gorgeous dark purple with a maroon shine, you can build it up for black nails with a purple shine. only thing is, it chips mega fast :(

Review: Eizabeth Arden 8 hour

A coupleof months back i bought a set of Elizabeth arden 8 hour prodacuts. They were on sale at Boots for approximately £32. I had no idea that these products would smell medicated so i was in for quite a shock. I am going to review each one from left to right.

Skin proctecten 50ml- This is for use on minorskin irritations, chapping, peeling or flaking of the skin, sunburns, cracked lips. I have been using this product whenever my face has extremely dry patches, or when ive got spot scars. it obviously works for the dry patches, but not so much on spot scars. I did ask the lady at the counter if it would work on scars and she assured me it would, but it does't! This product smells the most medicated, is thick and its a honey colour. Another thing i have found with this product is it is quite sticky on the skin, so not very pleasent at all. I'm sure this product will come more in handy in the winter when my skin gets very dry. This product does not contain SPF as far as im aware.

Intensive moisturising hand treatment 30ml- I can't review this hand cream as admittidly i haven't use dit, yet. My hands don't get very dry in the summer, and personally i'd rather wear a hand cream that smells more pleasing. this product does not contain SPF as far as i know.

Intensive moisturising body treatment- Again i have not been using this product due to the smell, and my skin doesn't require such a strong moisturiser. This product does not contain SPF as far as i know.

Intensive daily moisturiser for face 15ml- This has to be my favourite product from the lot! But unfortunately its only 15ml. Its just a perfect moisturiser, but unfortunately ther isn't enough of it). Ive always been inlove with Elizabeth Arden face moisturising products, last summer i was totally loving there IntervenePause and Effect Moisture Lotion (that reminds me, i must buy some for when i go away!). SPF 15.

Lip protectant stick- This lip protectant (or lip balm to you and me) is the best ive ever had. Its not greasy or sticky and doesn't dry out. It leaves your lips feeling soft all day long. its a perfect base for lipstick too. Although it is a peach/orange colour, it comes out clear on the lips. This product is perfect rain or shine and i love it! The downside is, it does smell medicated but i can live with that on my lips. Loves it. SPF 15.

Hope this review is useful to you!
